The Life Care Foundation — the community arm of Life Care Supreme OPC — conducted a large-scale free medical outreach mission in Surallah, South Cotabato, serving over 400 beneficiaries over two days.
Services Provided
- Free blood pressure monitoring and diabetes screening
- General consultations by volunteer physicians and nurses
- Medicine pack distribution (anti-hypertensives, analgesics, vitamins)
- Dental services including tooth extraction and oral hygiene counseling
- Life care plan awareness talks and free inquiry sessions
Community Response
Barangay Captains from 8 surrounding barangays coordinated with the Foundation to pre-register beneficiaries. Local government units provided the venue and security support.
"Many of our patients haven't seen a doctor in years," said one of the volunteer physicians. "Events like this remind us why community service is the highest form of medicine."
